Live Patient Surgical

3D Implant Institute’s comprehensive live-patient surgical implant course is designed for dental professionals at all experience levels, offering hands-on training with real patients under expert guidance for a truly practical and immersive learning experience.

This live surgical course is designed for all levels of experience.

BEGINNER:

Start simple. Leave surgical.

This is beginner level. We will go over flaps design, principles of implant drilling, placement protocols starting with edentulous sites, and sites that may need bone augmentation at the time of placement. By day 4, you will be much more experienced in placement protocols and will have clear knowledge of treatment planning, angle, and depth of placement.

  • Flap design
  • Releasing incisions
  • Edentulous sites posterior
  • Edentulous anterior
  • Atraumatic extraction
  • Socket grafting
  • Horizontal grafting

INTERMEDIATE:

Welcome to the next level: Graft, split, and lift with confidence.

This is for providers who have previous knowledge of dental implant surgery and want to take the skills a notch above. Including (but not limited to):

  • Immediate implants in the anterior sites
  • Bone grafting, vertical and horizontal
  • Block grafts if indicated
  • Sinus bumps
  • Posterior immediate implant placements
  • Lateral window
  • Ridge split techniques
  • Sausage technique

Put your dental implant education to the test by performing live implant placements and immediate loading same-day smiles on deserving patients who could not otherwise afford the care they need.

This course is intended for experienced implant clinicians who are seeking to move beyond placing single unit fixtures and advance to same day, full arch, immediately loaded implant treatment. Designed for advanced providers who already place and restore immediate implants.

  • Treatment planning full arch fixed maxilla and mandible
  • Pre-op records
  • Strategies for fiduciary markers
  • Surgical anatomy
  • Nerve dissection
  • Nasal floor elevation as needed
  • Sinus bumps / elevations as needed
  • M, W configuration and nasal floor engagement
  • Trans sinus, nasalis, and pterygoid protocols
  • Palatal approach
  • Alveoloplasty
  • Angled placements
  • MUA selection protocol
  • Troubleshooting low torque
  • Immediate loading protocols
  • Mid surgery records
  • Post surgery records
